1Audiodisplay
Showsthe audio function names.
Important
Ifthe multi-channel processor (DEQ-P7000) is
connectedto this unit, the audio function will be
changedinto the multi-channel processors
audiomenu. For details, refer to Introduction of
DSPadjustments on page 74.
%TouchA.MENU and then touch AUDIO
todisplay the audio function names.
Theaudio function names are displayed and
operableones are highlighted.
#WhenA.MENU is not displayed, you can dis-
playit by touching the screen.
#Youcan also display MENU by clicking the
joystick.
#Togo to the next group of function names,
touchNEXT.
#Toreturn to the previous group of function
names,touch PREV.
#IfEQ-EX function has been selected and only
whenEQ-EX is turned on and CUSTOM is se-
lectedas the equalizer curve, you can switch to
BASSand TREBLE.
#Onlywhen the subwoofer controller setting is
PREOUTFULL,NON FADING will be displayed
insteadof SUB WOOFER. (Refer to Setting the
rearoutput and subwoofer controller on page 87.)
#Whenselecting the FM tuner as the source,
youcannot switch to SLA.
#Toreturn to the previous display, touch BACK.
#Toreturn to the display of each source, touch
ESC.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the audio function within
about30 seconds, the display is automatically re-
turnedto the source display.
Using balance adjustment
Youcan select a fader/balance setting that
providesan ideal listening environment in all
occupiedseats.
1 TouchA.MENU and AUDIO and then
touchFAD/BAL.
#Whenthe rear output setting is
REARSP SUB. W,BALANCE will be displayed in-
steadof FAD/BAL. Refer to Setting the rear output
andsubwoofer controller on page 87.
2 Touchaor bto adjust front/rear
speakerbalance.
Eachtime you touch aor bmoves the front/
rearspeaker balance towards the front or the
rear.
FRONT:15REAR:15 is displayed as the front/
rearspeaker balance moves from front to rear.
#FR:00is the proper setting when only two
speakersare used.
#Whenthe rear output setting is
REARSP SUB. W, you cannot adjust front/rear
speakerbalance. Refer to Setting the rear output
andsubwoofer controller on page 87.
