1Functiondisplay
Showsthe function names.
%TouchA.MENU and then touch
FUNCTIONto display the function names.
Thefunction names are displayed and oper-
ableones are highlighted.
#WhenA.MENU is not displayed, you can dis-
playit by touching the screen.
#Youcan also display MENU by clicking the
joystick.
#Togo to the next group of function names,
touchNEXT.
#Toreturn to the previous group of function
names,touch PREV.
#Toreturn to the previous display, touch BACK.
#Toreturn to the playback display, touch ESC.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the function within about 30
seconds,the display is automatically returned to
theplayback display.
Repeating play
Thereare three repeat play ranges for the DVD
playback:DISC (disc repeat), TITLE (title re-
peat)and CHAPTER (chapter repeat).
1 TouchA.MENU and FUNCTION and then
touchREPEAT.
2 Touchany of the following touch panel
keysto select the repeat range.
!DISCPlay throughout the current disc
!TITLERepeat just the current title
!CHAPTERRepeat just the current chapter
Note
Ifyou perform chapter search or fastforward/re-
verse,the repeat play range changes to DISC.
Pausing DVD video playback
Pauselets you temporarily stop disc playback.
%Touchfduring playback.
Theicon eis displayed for fourseconds and
playbackis paused letting you view a still
image.
#Toresume playback at the same point that you
turnedpause on, touch fagain.

!Youcan also turn on or off pause function
usingPAUSE. To display PAUSE,touch
A.MENUand then touch FUNCTION.
!Dependingon the disc and the playback loca-
tionon the disc, the icon maybe displayed
indicatingthat still playback is not possi-
ble.
Frame-by-frame playback
Thislets you move ahead one frame at a time
duringplayback.
