!Whenplaying discs with MP3 files and audio
data(CD-DA) such as CD-EXTRA and MIXED-
MODECDs, both types can be played only by
switchingmode between MP3 and CD-DA by
touchingDA<>MP3 or pressing BAND/ESC.
!Ifyou have switched between playback of
MP3files and audio data (CD-DA), playback
startsat the first track on the disc.
!ThisDVD player can play back an MP3 file re-
cordedon CD-ROM. (Refer to page 101 for
filesthat can be played back.)
!Thereis sometimes a delay between starting
upplayback and the sound being issued. This
isparticularly the case when playing back
multi-sessionand many folders. When being
readin, FORMAT READ is displayed.
!Playbackis carried out in order of file number.
Foldersare skipped if they contain no files. (If
folder001 (ROOT) contains no files, playback
commenceswith folder 002.)
!Whenplaying back files recorded as VBR
(variablebit rate) files, the play time will not be
correctlydisplayed if fast forward or reverse
operationsare used.
!Ifyou do not use the touch panel keys for 30
seconds,they will be hidden automatically.

#Whenyou stop MP3 playback by touching g,
thatlocation on the disc is memorized enabling
playbackfrom that point when you play the disc
again.
#Toplay back the disc again, touch f.

#Togo to the next group of function names,
touchNEXT.
#Toreturn to the previous group of function
names,touch PREV.
#Toreturn to the previous display, touch BACK.
#Toreturn to the playback display, touch ESC.

!Thedynamic range control is effective only on
DolbyDigital sounds. (Refer to page 43.)
