soundimage and getting the balance right
isnteasy. We recommend reproducing a 2-
ch.audio (a CD for example) and getting
thebalance right among the speakers ex-
ceptfor the center, and then reproducing a
5.1-ch.audio (Dolby Digital or DTS) and ad-
justingthe center speaker output to the
balanceyou have already got among the
otherspeakers.

6 Touchaor bto adjust the equalizer
level.
Eachtime you touch aor bincreases or de-
creasesthe equalizer level. +12dB 12dB is
displayedas the level is increased or de-
creased.
7 TouchQ.Fac to select the desired Q fac-
tor.
Eachtime you touch Q.Fac switches between
thefollowing Q factor:
WIDE(wide)NARROW (narrow)
#Youcan adjust parameters for each band of
theother speakers in the same way.
8 TouchESC to return to the playback dis-
play.
Using the auto-equalizer
Theauto-equalizer is the equalizer cur ve cre-
atedby auto TA and EQ (refer to Auto TA and
EQ(auto-time alignment and auto-equalizing)
onpage 80).
Youcan turn the auto-equalizer on or off.
