When you select OTHERS

Whenyou select OTHERS, a language code

inputdisplay is shown. Refer to Language code

chartfor DVD on page 104 to input the four

digitcode of the desired language.

1 Touch09 to input the language code.

#Tocancel the input numbers, touch C.

#Youcan also input the desired number by

usingthe joystick and 0-9.

2 Whilethe input number is displayed,

touchENTER.

Setting the audio language

Youcan set the preferred audio language.

1 TouchSETUP and LANGUAGE and then

touchAUDIO LANGUAGE.

Anaudio language menu is displayed and the

currentlyset language is highlighted.

#Toswitch to the second language select

menu,touch NEXT.

#Toreturn to the first language select menu,

touchPREV.

2 Touchthe desired language.

Theaudio language is set.

#Ifyou have selected OTHERS, refer to When

youselect OTHERS on this page.

Notes

!Ifthe selected language is not recorded on

thedisc, the language specified on the disc is

output.

!Youcan also switch the audio language by

touchingAUDIO during playback. (Refer to

Changingaudio language during playback

(Multi-audio)on page 42.)

!Evenif you use AUDIO to switch the audio

language,this does not affect the settings

here.

Setting the menu language

Youcan set the preferred language for dis-

playsof menus recorded on a disc.

1 TouchSETUP and LANGUAGE and then

touchMENU LANGUAGE.

Amenu language menu is displayed and the

currentlyset language is highlighted.

#Toswitch to the second language select

menu,touch NEXT.

#Toreturn to the first language select menu,

touchPREV.

2 Touchthe desired language.

Themenu language is set.

Setting assist subtitles onor off

Assistsubtitles offer explanations for the au-

rallyimpaired. However, they are only dis-

playedif they are recorded on the DVD.

Youcan turn assist subtitles on or off as de-

sired.
