Youcan use this unit to control a XM satellite di-
gitaltuner (GEX-P910XM), which is sold
separately.
Fordetails concerning operation, refer to the
XMtuner s operation manuals. This section
providesinformation on XM operations with
thisunit which differs from that described in
theXM tuner s operation manual.
!Thisunit does not have the text scroll
function.
!Withthis unit, you can operate one addi-
tionalfunction: XM channel direct
selection.

Showswhat the source has been selected.
2XMband indicator
Showsthe XM band which has been
selected.
3XMpreset number indicator
Showswhat XM preset has been selected.
4XMchannel number indicator
Showsto which XM channel number the
tuneris tuned.
5XMchannel select setting indicator
Showswhat channel select setting has
beenselected. CH·Number is displayed
whenCH NUMBER is selected, and
Categoryis displayed when CATEGORY is
selected.
6XMchannel name
Showsthe channel name of broadcast
channel.
1 Touchthe source icon and then touch
XMto select the XM.
#Whenthe source icon is not displayed, you
candisplay it by touching the screen.
2 Touchthe screen to display the touch
panelkeys.
3 TouchBAND to select a XM band.
TouchBAND repeatedly until the desired XM
bandis displayed, XM1,XM2 or XM3.
4 Toperform tuning, touch cor d.
Thechannels move up or down step by step.
Channelsthat cannot currently be selected
areskipped, and the next channel is selected.
#Ifyou keep touching cor d, you can increase
ordecrease channel number continuously.
#Youcan also perform manual tuning by mov-
ingthe joystick left or right.
#Youcan also perform tuning from a desired
channelcategory. (Refer to Selecting the channel
inthe channel category on page 68.)

!Ifyou do not use the touch panel keys for 30
seconds,they will be hidden automatically.
!Youcan go to the next group of touch panel
keysby touching d.
