Youcan use this unit to control a multi-CD
player,which is sold separately.
Theseare the basic steps necessar y to play a
CDwith your multi-CD player. More advanced
CDoperation is explained starting on the next
page.
1Sourceicon
Showswhat the source has been selected.
2Discnumber indicator
Showsthe disc currently playing.
3Tracknumber indicator
Showsthe track currently playing.
4Playtime indicator
Showsthe elapsed playing time of the cur-
renttrack.
5Disclist display
Showsthe disc title list.
1 Touchthe source icon and then touch
M-CDto select the multi-CD player.
#Whenthe source icon is not displayed, you
candisplay it by touching the screen.
2 Touchthe screen to display the touch
panelkeys.
3 Touchany of 0106 to select a disc you
wantto listen to.
Ifyou want to select a disc located at 7 to 12,
touchPREV or NEXT to display 0712.
#When0106 and 0712 are not displayed,
youcan display them by touching DISP.
#Youcan also sequentially select a disc by
usinga/b.
4 Toskip back or forward to another
track,touch cor d.
Touchingdskips to the start of the next track.
Touchingconce skips to the start of the cur-
renttrack. Touching again will skip to the pre-
vioustrack.
#Youcan also skip back or forward toanother
trackby moving the joystick left or right.
5 Toperform fast forward or reverse,
keeptouching cor d.
#Youcan also perform fast reverse/fast forward
byholding the joystick left or right.
Notes
!Whenthe multi-CD player performs the pre-
paratoryoperations, READY is displayed.
!Ifthe multi-CD player does not operate prop-
erly,an error message such as ERROR-02
maybe displayed. Refer to the multi-CD player
ownersmanual.
!Ifthere are no discs in the multi-CD player ma-
gazine,NO DISC is displayed.
!Ifyou do not use the touch panel keys for 30
seconds,they will be hidden automatically.
50-disc multi-CD player
Onlythose functions described in this manual
aresupported for 50-disc multi-CD players.
