Installing the Printer Driver and Software
Preparation
If the AdobePS installation starts under Mac OS X, the desktop automatic ally changes to the Classic
environment. If you want to set a printer with Mac OS X, see ⇒ p.154 “Mac OS X”.
Installing the PostScript Printer Driver and PPD File
It is necessary to install a printer driver and a PPD file to print from a Macintosh.
Follow these steps to install a printer driver and a PPD file into a Mac intosh using Mac OS 8 .6 or late r.

AInsert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

BDouble-click the CD-ROM icon.
