Press the Select [-] and [+] buttons to select “Disk Utility.”

Press the [Rec] button.

Press the Select [-] and [+] buttons to select “Format Disk.”

Press the [Rec] button.

The following message, asking you to confirm, will be displayed.

To cancel the procedure, press the [Reset] button.

8. Press the [Rec] button again to perform the Format.

While formatting is in progress, the following display appears.

When disk formatting is completed the following screen appears, then basic screen re- appears.

NOTE Never attempt to remove the floppy disk until formatting is complete.
