Printing Multiple Pages on One Sheet

of Paper

You can print more than one page on a single sheet of paper.

From your Macintosh application, select
Print
from the
File
menu.

Layout
.

Select the nu mber of p ages you w ant to print on one sheet
of pa pe r o n th e
Pages per Sheet
drop-down list.

Select th e page o r der from th e
Layout Direction
option.
To print a border around each pag e on the sheet, select
the option yo u w ant from th e
Border
drop-down list.

Click
Print
, and th e p r inte r pr ints the selected n u mber of
pages on one side of each page.

Duplex Printing

You can print on both side s of the paper. Before printing in the
duplex mode, decide on which edge you will be binding your
finished document. The binding options are:
Long-Edge Binding
: Which is the conventional layout
used in book binding.
Short-Edge Binding
: Which is the type often used with
calendars.

From your Macintosh application, select
Print
from the
File
menu.

Select the
Layout

Select a binding orientation from
Two Sided Printing
option.

Click
Print
and the printer prints on both sides of the
paper.

AUTION
:
If you have selected duplex printing and
then try to print multiple copies of a docum ent, the
printer may not print the d ocument in the way you
want. In case of "Collated copy" , if y our document has
odd pages, the last pa ge of the fi rs t copy and the first
page of the next copy will be pri nted on the fr ont and
back of one sheet. In case of "Uncollated copy", the
same page will be printed on the front and back of one
sheet. Therefore, if you need multiple copies of a
document and you want those copies on both sides of
the paper, you must pr i nt them one at a time, as
separate print jobs
.
