Volume
To adjust the ringer volume:
1. Press , highlight the Settings menu, and press .
2. Select Sounds.
3. Select Volume.
4. Select for Ringer or Advanced.
•For Ringer, press the navigation key left or right until the desired
volume level is selected. Press to select or deselect Always
Vibrate. Press the left softkey for Done to save and exit.
•For Advanced, select Text Message,Pic/Video Msg,Voice Mail,
Alarms,or App. Volume.
•For Text Message, Pic/Video Msg,Voice Mail or Alarms, use the
navigation keys to select UseRinger vo lume or Separate Volume.
Press to select/deselect Always Vibrate. Press the left
softkey for Done to save and exit.
•For App. Volume, select Sound. Use the navigation keys to select
UseRinger volume or Separa te Volume. Press the left softkey
for Done to save and exit. To enable game vibration, select
Game Vibrate, select On, and press .
Tip: You can adjust the ringer volume in standby mode (or the earpiece volume
during a call) by using the volume key on the side of your phone or Samsung
Bluetooth headset when equipped.
Silence All
There may be times when you need to silence your phone entirely. The phone’s
Silence All option allows you to mute all sounds without turning your phone off.
To activate Silence All:
•With the phone flipped open, press and hold the down volume key in
standby mode. (The screen will display “Silence All.”)
To deactivate Silence All:
•Press the up volume key repeatedly to select a desired volume level.
