Answering a Call - Landscape Mode

When you receive an incoming call, the Incoming screen appears in the display.

1. Press the right softkey for Ignore to send the call to voicemail or

the left softkey for Answer to answer the call.

Note: To change the answer options, see "Call Answer" on page 120.

VoiceSignal Commands - Landscape Mode

The following is a list of functions that you can perform using VoiceSignal speech

recognition on your phone.

•Call <Name or #>: Dial by saying a Name in your Contacts List or a Name

and a Location (home, work, mobile).

•Send <Message Type>: Send a picture, text, or video, message to a number

or to someone in your Contacts List.

•Lookup <Name>: Open the contact record for any name in your Contacts

List.

•Go to <Menu>: Open any application installed on your device.

•Check <Item>: Provides details of your phone status, voicemail, missed

calls, time, battery level, signal strength and master volume level.

Creating and Sending Messages - Landscape Mode

1. Open your u740 in Landscape mode.

2. Press the left softkey for Favorites.

3. Select Send Text or Send Picture.

4. Using the navigation keys, select the Mobile # or Email box and press

.

5. Enter the phone number or email address of the recipient, then press

the left softkey for OK or press .

6. Press the left softkey for Next.

7. Use the QWERTY keyboard and special function keys to create your

message.
