129 Landscape Mode
10.Press the l eft softkey to Send. If you wish to change your text
message options, press the right softkey for Options and select one
of the following:
•Edit allows you to reenter the message recipients and the message.
•Priority allows you to set the priority level between Normal and
Urgent.
•Call Back # allows you to enter or omit a call back number in your
message.
•Save to Drafts stores a copy of the text message in your Drafts
folder.
Entering Numbers - Landscape Mode
1. Press the left softkey for Favorites, then select Send Text to
compose a new text message.
2. Using the navigation keys, select the Mobile # or Email box and press
.
3. Enter the phone number or email address of the recipient, then press
the left softkey for OK or press .
4. Press the left softkey for Next.
5. Abc is the default text entry mode. Press the right softkey for
Options and select Number or press to enter numeric
characters.
6. Enter the key that corresponds with the number that you wish to enter.
For example, press for the number 4.
7. When you are finished adding numbers, press to return to Abc
text entry mode or press the right softkey for Options to select a
different method of text entry or press Send to send your message.
Email - Landscape Mode
The u740 has a built-in email and IM client that allows you easy access to Windows
LiveTM services. The client requires you to configure your preference and access
information such as language preference, account information (user ID and
password), and customization. Additional charges may apply for using this service.
Once your access information has been set up, you can use the right soft key
to toggle between IM and email from the main screen. The soft keys are context-
