Prepare the Top Thread

• Thread the Needle

The numbered steps above follow the numbers on the illustrations.

Dotted lines show places where the thread loops and then is pulted t{ght,

Raise the take-up lever to its highest position by turning the hand wheel toward you+

Raise the

presser toot lever.

 

Place the

spool on the spool pin as shown= with thread

coming from the back of the spool.

(_) Draw thread into thread guide using both hands.

 

(_ While

holding thread near spool, draw thread down into the tension area and then around the

check

spring holder,

 

_) Firmly draw thread up and through take-up lever from right to left.

(_ Thread then is slipped into needle bar thread guide,

 

(_ Thread needle from front to back,

 

NOTE:

Cut the end of the thread with sharp scissors

or easier needle threading,

Toumez le volant a la main vers vous pour amener te releveur-tendeur de fil en position haute.

Remontez le pied-de-biehe. Posez la bobine de fil comme montrE, le fil se dEroulant par !'arriOre+

(_ Tenez le fil des deux mains et passez-te sous le guide-ilL

_) Alors qtte vous retenez Ie fil prks de la bobineo tirez le fil vers le bas. clans la rainure, et autour du disposifif gtressort.

(_ Tirez fermement le fil vers le haut et passez-ie, de droite i_ gauche, dans Ie crochet du releveur- tendeur.

(_) Passez-?e ensuite dans le guide-ill att-dessas de l'aiguille.

(_) Enfilez l' aiguille d'avant en arribre+

REMARQUE:

Pour introduire plus facilement fe fil dans le chas de l' atguille, coupez le bout du fil

 

avec des ciseato: bien aiguisds+
