Still Recording Mode
Available mode:
TAPE-CAMERA
You can record still images of subjects with
normal sound on a tape by selecting one of two
still recording modes.

Selecting Still Recording mode
1In TAPE-CAMERA mode, press the
MENU button until the menu screen
appears.
2Pressl or m on the operation button
to select Y, then press the SET button.
3Pressl or m to select “PHOTO
SNAP”, then press the SET button.
4Pressl or m to select the desired still
recording mode, then press the SET
button.
5Press the MENU button to turn off the
menu screen

Still Recording Effects
Available modes:
TAPE-CAMERA, CARD-CAMERA
You can select one of these still recording
effects to record the still images with an effect.

Selecting a still recording effect
1In TAPE-CAMERA or CARD-CAMERA
mode, press the MENU button until the
menu screen appears.
2Pressl or m on the operation button
to select Y, then press the SET button.
3Pressl or m to select “SNAP EFF.”,
then press the SET button.
4Pressl or m to select the desired still
recording effect, then press the SET
button.
5Press the MENU button to turn off the
menu screen.
Types of Still Recording Effects
OFF: A still image recorded without any
effect.
PHOTO SHOT: A still picture is recorded
with the sound and visual effects of a
camera shutter closing.
9 FRAMES: A still picture is recorded at
intervals of 1/8 of a second using a 9-
frame picture.
16 FRAMES: A still picture is recorded at
intervals of 1/8 of a second using a 16-
frame picture.
Types of Still Recording modes
SNAP: A still picture is recorded for 6
seconds.
STILL: A continuous still image is recorded.
