Management Information Base (MIB) Installing the PSFR-CP41
Management Information Base (MIB)
A MIB (Management InformationB ase) isan element used in network
management with SNMP( SimpleNetwork Management Protocol) and a
management stationr unning a management application,such as Hewlett
Packard’sOpen View. The management application uses GETs and SETs to
get system informationand set system environment variables.
The privateMIB can be accessed via Ethernet and is both a diagnostic and a
configurationtool for the PSFR-CP41.

interfacetype on the Private MIB. Formore information on accessing the Private

MIB Fibre Channel Interface Information

FibreChannel data reported includes frame and packet information, upper layer
protocol(ULP) type (FCP or IP), andother Fibre Channel specific information.
