Configuring the PSFR-CP41
The PSFR-CP41 uses a menus tructure to configurethe PSFR- CP41thr ough
the serial and telnet interfaces.The currently selected menu and the firmware
versioncurrently executing will be displayed. Menu items are selected by
entering the number of the menudesired, and exited by entering an ‘X’. In
general,the configuration options present in the serial interface correspond to
those availablethrough SNMP and telnet.
Menus are not casesensitive. You can enter uppercase and lowercase
charactersinterchangeably when selecting from menus.
ThePSFR-CP41 Configuration Program allows the user to control many config-
urationsettings through the PSFR-CP41 serial interface. Among these are:
Baud rateof the s erial port
Fibre Channel address
SCSI initiatorand tar get IDs
Ethernet IP and MAC addresses
Fibre Channel-to-SCSI mapping
SCSI-to-Fibre Channel mapping
Tracelevel settings
Configurations ettings maybe changed and saved.
Unless otherwise indicated,all configuration options set do not take
effectuntil the next boot cycle of the PSFR-CP41 unit.
