Indexed Addressing Understanding the PSFR-CP41 Configuration
IndexedAddressing table
The IndexedAddressing table has the structure shown in Table. The PSFR-
CP41 willallow up to 80 device entries to be mapped. The index table can be
manuallyedited, and is then saved to FLASH memory. Configuration assists
allowfor the table to be filled in order of increasing target, or LUN, as may be
desired forthe specific requirements needed. An assist is also provided to
perform devicediscovery, and fill the table in the order that devices are
discoveredon the SCSI bus.
IndexedAddressing mode is recommended for environments where device
configurationmay change, and a fixed mapping from the application to the
targetdevices is required. An example of such an environmentis where hot plug
devicesmay be used, thereby changing the order of devices on the SCSI bus.
