General configuration with Basic Setup
Use Basic Setup for the general configuration of the Gigaset SE505 dsl/cable. This
includes the settings for the WAN interface.
The router's WAN interface is used to provide a connection to the Internet for all the PC' s
connected to the router. For the setup you will need the access data you have received
from your Internet Service Provider. Please have this data to hand.
The router user interface guides you through configuration step by step. Once you have
completed a screen, click on NEXT. If you want to make any changes or check your
entries, click on BACK.
Select Basic Setup in the start screen to launch the configuration.

Select Country

The first step of the Basic Setup is to select the Country in which you wish to operate
your router.
Select your Country from the pick list.
Click on NEXT.
