General configuration with Basic Setup

Configure connection with dynamic IP address

Complete this screen if your Internet Service provider has given you a Dynamic IP

address for your Internet connection. In this case your router is a DHCP Client.

◆If you have been given a host name by your Internet service provider, please enter it

in the Host name window.

◆If your Internet Service Provider has given you a Domain name, enter in the Domain

name window.

◆The MAC address is set by default to the hardware address of the router's WAN port.

Do not change this unless required to do so by your Internet Service Provider.

◆When you have entered the data, click on NEXT.

In this connection type your router is assigned a Dynamic IP address by

the Internet Service Provider.

If you want to use a PC in your network as a server, you can use the

router's DynDNS service (see page 89).
