6.8.6LED Display of the Ports (DMode A through DMode D)

The two LEDs of slot 5 or the four LEDs of slots 9 through 11 of the basic device indicate various port statuses depending on the set display modes. The displays have the same significance for all ports on all slots of the basic device and the ex- tender modules EM495-8 and EM496-4.

Port Statuses in DMode A

In display mode A, the current port status is displayed.
