Whenyour SMARTAudios ystem is set toAuto Select, the controlunit automatically detects t he
activeaudio input. This enables themic rophoneusert o changethe volume of the active audio input
devicewithout changing the volumeof t heother audio inputdevice.

gTo enablea mi crophoneuser to change thevolume of audio input devices
If you want to enablethe microphoneuser to only change the volumeof theactive audio input
device,select Auto Selecton the SystemSettings tab.
If you want to enablethe microphoneuser to change the volumeof allaudio input devices, clear
Auto Select.
Settingthe relay settings
Youcan install a relay at the room moduleto trigger a relay responseon command, such as dimming
lights,t urningon an auxiliaryaudio input device or sendinga signal to anotherlocation.
Thecommand to the relayt riggercan be oneof thefollowing:
lAt eacherpressing the Softbutton of the microphone
lAninput at the 6-12V input
lEitherthe teacher pressingthe Soft button or by an inputat the6-12V input
Therelay can provideone of the following:
lLatchingresponse
l200ms pulse
l400ms pulse
l600ms pulse
Thisis asingle pole, doublethrow (SPDT) relay with normally open(N. O.), normallyclosed (N.C. )
andcommon (COM)c ontacts.
Arelay can be in an activated or deactivateds tate, as shown below.
