When recording to the HDD in HQ+ mode, recordings are made in “Video Mode Off” format regardless of the “HDD Recording Format” setting (page 128).
HQ+ mode is not available for DVDs. When recording to DVDs, the recording mode automatically switches to HQ mode even if you set to HQ+ mode.
*2 Audio signals are recorded in 48 kHz PCM format, and video signals are recorded in HQ mode. When recording a bilingual programme, select the sound to be recorded (page 124).
