You can search a disc by title, chapter, or track. As titles and tracks are assigned individual numbers, select the title or track by entering its number. You can also search for a scene using the time code.

1 Press PLAY MODE during playback. The “Play Mode” menu appears.

2 Select “Search Mode,” and press

ENTER.

3 Select a search method, and press

ENTER.

“Time Search” (for HDD/DVDs/DATA DVDs*1/DATA CDs*1/VIDEO CDs*2*3): Searches for a starting point by entering the time code.

“Title Search” (for HDD/DVDs/DATA DVDs*1/DATA CDs*1)

“Chapter Search” (for HDD/DVDs) “Track Search” (for VIDEO CDs*3)

*1 DivX video file only

*2 Except Super VIDEO CDs

*3 Available only when playing without PBC functions

The display for entering the number appears.

4 Press the number buttons to select the number of the title, chapter, time code, etc., you want.

For example: Time Search

To find a scene at 2 hours, 10 minutes, and 20 seconds, enter “21020.”

If you make a mistake, select another number.

5 Press ENTER.

Playback starts from the selected number.

You can search for a title/track/chapter by entering the title/track/chapter number using the number buttons during playback.
