Power PreparationsUsing the BP-L40(A)/L60A/L90A Battery Pack

To charge the battery pack

Before use, charge the battery pack with the BC-L100 or BC-L50 battery charger.

For more information about how to charge the battery pack, refer to the instruction manual of the battery charger.

To attach the battery pack in the battery compartment

The battery compartment is on the top panel. Attach the battery pack (BP-

L40(A)/L60A/L90A) in the battery compartment as shown below.

1 Lift up the battery cover lock and open the battery cover.

2 Align the three grooves on the bottom of the BP-L40(A)/L60A/L90A with the three guides on the unit.
