Connecting an External Mouse or Keyboard
You can connect an external mouse or keyboard to the optional port replicator using a similar type PS/2® plug or adapter. You can only connect one external device at a time. Therefore, you cannot connect both a PS/2 mouse and PS/2 keyboard simultaneously.
✍Before you connect or disconnect the mouse or keyboard, turn off the notebook.
To connect an external mouse or keyboard
1Turn off your notebook.
2Locate the mouse/keyboard port on the port replicator identified by the 
/
symbols.
3Plug the mouse or the keyboard cable into this port with the arrow facing up.
