To charge the second battery pack

Keep the battery pack in the notebook while it is connected to AC power. The battery automatically charges as long as the notebook is connected to AC power and turned on. The battery indicator flashes while the battery is charging.

To charge the battery pack

1Connect the AC adapter to the notebook.

2Insert the battery pack.

The notebook automatically charges the battery. The battery indicator flashes in a double-blink pattern as the battery charges.
