11.Turn on the powerusing the switch located at the front ofthe printer. The

printerwill beep, indicating that the paper is notyet fully loaded. A“PE>’

message will also flash on theLCD display to confirm this.

12.Now pull the bail lever toward the front of the printer. The paper will be

fed and adjusted past the print head to aposition ready for printing.

NOTE: Do notreturn the bail lever backward. The bail lever automatically

returnsto its originalposition after the paper goes through under the

bail lever location.

13.If you want to set the paper to adifferent position, set the printer off-line

by pressing the !ON LINE Jbutton, then set the paper by using the

micro-feed function. (For details, refer to Chapter 4.)
