ADJUSTING THE PRINTING GAP
The distance between the print head and the platen can be adjusted to
accommodatedifferent paper thicknesses. Theadjustment leveris locatedat
theleft side of the printer. Pushing the adjustment lever towards the rear of
theprinter narrows the gap; pullingit towardsthe front of the printerwidens
the gap.
There are five positions, and you can feel the lever clicking into each
position. The second positionfrom therear (marked with “*”) istheone most
commonly used for singlesheets of paper.
Try different positionsuntil you get the best printing results.
NOTE:Printing with an inappropriate gap may drastically shorten the life
of the print head.
