Conference [1..1] Encryption Mode

In Point to point calls (Bes tEffort mode): If th e far end system supports e ncryption (AES-128), the call will
be encrypted. If not, the call w ill proceed without enc ryption.
In MultiSite calls (Be stEffort mode): In o rder to have encrypted Multi Site conferences, all site s must
support encrypti on. If not, the conference will b e unencrypted.
Icons on screen: A padlo ck with the text “Encrypti on On” displays on screen, for a fe w seconds, when the
conference starts.
Valuespace: <Off /On/BestEffo rt>
BestEffort: The system w ill use encryption wh enever possible.
On: The system will only al low calls that are encry pted.
Off: The system will not us e encryption.
Example: Conference 1 Encryption Mo de: BestEffort

Conference [1..1] DefaultCall Protocol

Specify the Default C all Protocol to be used when plac ing calls from the system. The c all protocol can also
be defined directly for eac h call when setting up a ca ll.
Valuespace: <H323/S IP>
H.323: Select H.323 to ensure that cal ls are set up as a H.323 calls.
SIP: Select SIP to ensure that c alls are set up as a SIP calls.
Example: Conference 1 DefaultCall Protocol: H323

Conference [1..1] DefaultCall Rate

Specify the Default C all Rate to be used when placing c alls from the system. The call r ate can also be
defined directly for each c all when setting up a call.
Valuespace: <64..6000>
Range: 64-6000 kbps
Example: Conference 1 DefaultCall Rate: 768

Conference [1..1] VideoBandwidth Mode

In “Dynamic” mode the avail able transmit bandwid th for the video channels i s distributed among the
currently active chann els. This means that the main v ideo channels will us e the bandwidth of the
presentation channe l, if there is no active presenta tion. In “Static” mode the bandw idth is assigned to each
video channel even if it i s not active.
Valuespace: <Dynam ic/Static>
Dynamic: The availabl e transmit bandwidth for th e video channels are dis tributed among the curren tly
active channels.
Static: The available tra nsmit bandwidth is assi gned to each video chann el, even if it is not active.

Conference [1..1] VideoBandwidth MainC hannel Weight

The available transmit v ideo bandwidth is distr ibuted on the main channel a nd presentation chann el
according to “MainChan nel Weight” and “Presenta tionChannel Weight”. If the main c hannel weight is 2
and the presentation cha nnel weight is 1, then the main chann el will use twice as much b andwidth as the
presentation channe l.
Valuespace: <1..10>
Range: Select a value f rom 1 to 10.
