Provisioning Externa lManager Address

Specifies the IP Address to th e External Manager/ Management system. If an E xternal Manager ad dress
and a path is configured, the syste m will post an HTTP mess age to this address when sta rting up.
When receiving this HT TP posting the Exter nal Manager (typic ally a management system ) can return
configurations/com mands to the unit as a result. If the D HCP Option 242 is returned in the DHCP
response from the DHCP ser ver the system will interpr et this as the External Ma nager address to use.
Valuespace: <S: 0, 64>
Format: String with a max imum of 64 characters.

Determines whether or no t to use secure management.

HTTP: Set to HTTP to disab le secure management. Re quires HTTP to be enable d in the Network
Services HTTP M ode setting.
HTTPS: Set to HTTPS to enab le secure management. Re quires HTTPS to be enab led in the Network
Services HTTPS M ode setting.

Provisioning Mode

Provides the possibili ty of managing the codec ( endpoint) by using an exte rnal manager/manage ment
system.
Valuespace: <Off /TMS>
Off: The system will not tr y to register to any managemen t system.
TMS: If set to TMS the system will tr y to register with a TMS serve r as described in Provisi oning
ExternalManage r settings. TMS is short fo r TANDBERG Management System. C ontact your
TANDBERG representative for mor e information.
Example: Provisioning Mode: TMS

SerialPort BaudRate

Specify the baud rate on th e COM port (data port ). The default value is 384 00.
Other default paramete rs for the COM port are: Par ity: None Databits: 8 S topbits: 1 Flow control: No ne.
Valuespace: <9600 /19200/38400/57600/115200>
Range: Select a baud rate f rom the baud rates listed (bps ).
Example: SerialPort BaudRate: 38400

SerialPort LoginRe quired

The Serial Login setti ng determines whether or n ot there should be a login whe n connecting to the COM
port (data port) .
Valuespace: <On/ Off>
On: Login is required whe n connecting to the COM por t (data port).
Off: The user can acc ess the COM port (data po rt) without any login.
