NetworkServices H 323 Mode

Determines whether the sy stem should be able to place an d receive H.323 calls.
NOTE! Changes in this set ting requires the codec to be re started.
Valuespace: <On/ Off>
On: Set to On to enable the poss ibility to place and recei ve H.323 calls. This is the default settin g.
Off: Set to Off to disabl e the possibility to place a nd receive H.323 calls.
Example: NetworkServices H323 Mode: On

NetworkServices H TTP Mode

HTTP is a web-interfa ce for system management, ca ll management such as ca ll transfer, diagnostics and
software uploads.
Valuespace: <On/ Off>
On: The HTTP protocol is e nabled.
Off: The HTTP protoc ol is disabled.
Example: NetworkServices HTTP Mode: On

NetworkServices H TTPS Mode

HTTPS is a Web protocol that en crypts and decrypts u ser page requests as well a s the pages that are
returned by the Web server.
Valuespace: <On/ Off>
On: The HTTPS protocol i s enabled.
Off: The HTTPS protoc ol is disabled.
Example: NetworkServices HTTPS Mode: On

NetworkServices H TTPS VerifyServerCer tificate

When the system connects to an ex ternal HTTPS ser ver (like a phonebook se rver or an external man ager),
this server will prese nt a certificate to the system to ide ntify itself. This setti ng tells the system if it should
verify that the certi ficate is signed by a trusted Cer tificate Authority ( CA). This requires that li st of trusted
CA’s is uploaded to the system in advance.
Valuespace: <On/ Off>
On: Verify server ce rtificates.
Off: Do not verify se rver certificates.
Example: NetworkServices HTTPS VerifyServerCer ticate: Off

NetworkServices N TP Address

Enter the NTP Address to define th e network time protocol ser ver address. This addre ss will be used if
NTP Mode is set to Manual, or if se t to Auto and no address is supplie d by a DHCP server.
Valuespace: <S: 0, 64>
Format: String with a max imum of 64 characters.
Example: NetworkServices NTP Addr ess: “1.tandberg.pool.ntp.org”

NetworkServices N TP Mode

The Network Time Protocol ( NTP) is used to synchron ize the time of the system to a reference ti me server.
The time server will su bsequently be querie d every 24th hour for time updates. Th e time will be displayed
on the top of the screen. The system w ill use the time to timestamp me ssages transmitted to Ga tekeepers
or Border Controllers re quiring H.235 authenticat ion. The system will use the time to ti mestamp messages
transmitted to Gatekeepe rs or Border Controllers t hat requires H.235 authentic ation. It is also used for
timestamping Placed Ca lls, Missed Calls and Rec eived Calls.
Valuespace: <Auto/ Manual>
Auto: The system will use the NT P server, by which address is sup plied from the DHCP ser ver in the
network. If no DHCP ser ver is used, or the DHCP serve r does not provide the system wi th a NTP
server address, the sys tem will use the static defined N TP server address spe cified by the user.
Manual: The system will a lways use the static defined NTP s erver address spec ified by the user.
Example: NetworkServices NTP Mode: Manu al

NetworkServices S IP Mode

Determines whether the sy stem should be able to place an d receive SIP calls.
NOTE! Changes in this set ting requires the codec to be re started.
Valuespace: <On/ Off>
On: Set to On to enable the poss ibility to place and recei ve SIP calls. This is the default sett ing.
Off: Set to Off to disabl e the possibility to place a nd receive SIP calls.
Example: NetworkServices SIP Mode: On

NetworkServices S NMP CommunityName

Enter the name of the Network Se rvices SNMP Commu nity. SNMP Community nam es are used to
authenticate SNMP reque sts. SNMP requests must have a ‘pas sword’ (case sensitive ) in order to receive a
