changes in the new version fo r the C Series line of codecs.

New features and improvements

Configuration profiles
Enhanced usability fe atures with Configuration Profil es. The
functionality is availa ble from softkeys when you enter the
“Advanced Configuration” menu.
Today’s bookings
Systems provisioned by the TANDBERG Ma nagement System
(TMS) can display today ’s current bookings in the GUI.
Confirm selection of vide o output resolution
When changing the output re solution, the system will prompt you
and let you keep or cancel the se lected resolution. In the event
that the monitor doesn’t suppor t the new selected resolution, n o
prompt will be shown; sele ction will time out and thus the system
will revert to the previous res olution.
System information, frame rate in dicator
The call status will now inclu de frame rate, thus making it easy to
see if you are sending/re ceiving 30 or 60 frames pe r second. As
this is just an indicator and not a pro per frame rate counter, it will
not show accurate sent or receive d frame rate. However you will
be able to see if the system is now sendi ng or receiving 60 frames
per second.
Autocomplete
When starting to type in a n umber in the call dialog box, it wil l now
provide matches from recent c alls, corporate phonebook an d
local contacts.
Telephone call icon
A telephone call icon will n ow be displayed along with the
telephone number when c ombined with a video call or
presentation.
Russian Input method
When Cyrillic is selec ted as input method, Russian ca n be used
as multitap. A Russian versi on of the remote control will be
available at the same time as the TC3.0 rel ease.
Do Not Disturb
A proper icon will now be displ ayed in the lower right corner, when
do not disturb is active. And a text box re minding you that ‘Do not
disturb’ is active will be presente d in the middle of the screen, if
you have no menus or presentatio n active.
Do not disturb can be activated by ho lding down the disconnect
key until the Standby dialog box app ears.
New menu languages
Finnish, Traditional Chinese, Por tuguese Brazilian, Polis h, Danish,
Dutch
Call rate selection
The soft button to select ca ll rate is now available from the ‘Enter
contact’ field in the call dia log box.

Improved web interface

The web interface lets you :
Check system info
Upgrade software and add r elease and option keys
Configure the system using the adv anced configuration
Upload custom wallpaper usi ng png format.
Place calls and see the call s tatus
Upload Certificates
Download XML files
Download system logs

Video enhancements

Optimal Definition Profiles
Each video input can now be c onfigured to allow different opti mal
definition profiles. You can set the profile l evel, which tells your
system how good lighting you have in your r oom, and you can set
when to prefer 60 frames per se cond over 30 frames per seco nd.
Overscan compensatio n
Support for monitor oversc an compensation, where both v ideo
and GUI will be scaled to suppo rt monitors that do not suppor t
the ability to display an imag e in pixel-by-pixel mode.
