Setting up the printer: at a glance

1.Unpack the printer and its accessories (page 2-3).

2.Send in your registration card (page 2-3).

3.Install the Lower Paper Tray Assembly (optional) (page 2-4).

4.Unlock the transit restraint (page 2-7).

5.Install the maintenance tray (page 2-8).

6.Load the ink sticks (page 2-10).

7.Load the paper tray (page 2-11).

8.Attach an external hard drive (optional) (page 2-17).

9.Connect the printer to your computer or network (page 2-18).

10.Connect the power cord and turn printer on (page 2-21).
