Using the Mac OS installer

1.Insert either the printerÕs CD-ROM or the Phaser 360 Installer for Mac OS Disk 1 into the appropriate drive on your computer.

2.Double-click the Phaser 360 Installer icon. Click Continue until the Easy Install window appears.

3.Select Easy Install or Custom Install:

a. Click Install to install the items listed in	a. Select Custom Install from the
the Easy Install window.	pull-down menu.

b.For details on each item, click Read Me. b. Select individual items to install.

c.Click the I buttons for information on each item.

d.Click Install to install the selected items.

4.Continue with driver setup instructions depending on the driver you are using:

■If you want to use the LaserWriter 7.1.2-based driver, see ÒSetting up the Phaser 360 printer driverÓ on page 3-18.

■For most applications, see ÒSetting up the Apple LaserWriter 8.3.4 driverÓ on page 3-19.

■If you are using QuickDraw GX, see ÒSetting up the Phaser 360 GX driverÓ on page 3-21.
