1About Your Printer

Printer parts

Paper/transparency tray

The standard tray (for either letter- or A4-size media) shipped with the printer accepts up to 200 sheets of common ofÞce paper, ranging from 60 to 120 g/m2 (16 to 32 lb.)., You can also load full-sheetpeel-off labels or up to 50 sheets of transparencies or labels in the standard paper tray.

Manual feed slot

Use this slot to feed single sheets of paper, nonglossy cover stock Ñ up to 220 g/m2 (80 lb.) Ñ or transparencies.

Transit restraint

The transit restraint on the right side of the printer secures the printhead in the printer. You must lock the transit restraint before moving or shipping the printer and unlock the transit restraint before operating the printer.

Back panel

The On/Off switch, power plug, and interface ports are on the back of the printer. The Phaser 360 printer has a built-in Ethernet connection, a SCSI port for an external hard drive, a bidirectional parallel port, and an expansion slot to support an optional Tektronix PhaserShare network card.
