Setting up your TV 85

No Signal Power Down

2Repeatedly press the SLEEP button to increase the time in 10-minute increments, or press the ▲/▼(arrow) buttons to increase or decrease the time in 10-minute increments, to a maximum of 12 hours.

To set the sleep timer using the on-screen menus:

1In Timers menu, highlight Sleep Timer, and then press the ENTER button.

2Press the Number buttons to enter the length of time (maximum of 12 hours) and then press the ENTER button. Or press the ▲/▼(arrow) buttons to increase or decrease in 10-minute increments (maximum of 12 hours).

If a power failure occurs, the sleep timer setting may be cleared.

To display the time remaining until the TV turns off, press the SLEEP button.

To cancel the sleep timer, repeatedly press SLEEP until it is set to 0 minutes.

No Signal Power Down

The TV will automatically turn itself off after 15 minutes when no signal is detected. You can change the setting to Off for the following purposes:

vLow signal strength of analog channel (no signal detection)

vOnly Audio L/R is connected to external input to listen to music through the TV speakers.

To change the no signal power down setting:

1From the Options menu, highlight Power Management, and then press the ENTER button.

2Highlight No Signal Power Down, and then press the ENTER button.

3Press the ▲/▼(arrow) buttons to highlight the item you want to change, and press the ◄/►(arrow) buttons to select On or Off.

vDefault setting for this feature is On.

vA warning message will appear 1 minute before the TV turns off.
