UsingtheT rackPointpointingdevice
TheT rackPointpointingdeviceconsistsofapointingstick1onthekeyboardandthreeclickbuttonsatthe
bottomofthekeyboard.Tomovethepoint er5onthescreen,youapplypr essuretothenonslipcaponthe
pointingstickinanydirectionparalleltothekeyboar d;thepointingstickitselfdoesnotmove.Thespeedat
whichthepointermovesdependsonthepressureyouapplytothepointingstick.Thefunctionsoftheleft4
andright2clickbuttonscorrespondtothoseoftheleftandrightmousebuttonsonaconventionalmouse.
TheT rackPointcenterbutton3,calledthescrollbar,enablesyoutoscrollWebpagesordocumentsinany
directionwithnoneedtousethegraphicscrollbarsonthesideofthewindow .

IfyouarenotfamiliarwiththeT rackPointpointingdevice,theseinstructionswillhelpyougetstarted:
1.Placeyourhandsinthetypingposition,andpressgentlywithanindexngeroramiddlengeronthe
pointingstickinthedirectioninwhichyouwantthepointertomove.
Tomovethepointer,pressthepointingstickawayfromyoutomoveitup,towardyoutomoveit
down,toonesideortheothertomoveitsideways.
Note:Thepointermightdrift.Thisisnotadefect.StopusingtheTrackP ointpointingdeviceforafew
seconds;thepointerwillstopmoving.
2.Toselectanddragasrequiredbyyoursoftware,presstheleftorrightclickbuttonwitheitherthumb
andmovetheTrackPointpointingstick.
