Refreshingyourcomputer
Ifyourcomputerdoesnotperformwellandtheproblemmightbecausedbyarecentlyinstalledprogram,
youcanrefreshyourcomputerwithoutlosingyourpersonallesorchangingyoursettings.
Attention:Ifyourefreshyourcomputer,theprogramsthatcamewithyourcomputerandtheprogr amsthat
youinstalledfromWindowsStorewillbereinstalled,butallotherprogramswillberemoved.
Torefreshyourcomputer ,dothefollowing:
1.Movethecursortothetop-rightorbottom-rightcornerofthescr eentodisplaythecharms.Click
Settings➙ChangePCsettings➙General.
2.IntheRefreshyourPCwithoutaffectingyourlessection,clickGetstarted.
Resettingyourcomputertothefactorydefaultsettings
Youcanr esetyourcomputertothefactorydefaultsettings.Resettingthecomputerwillreinstallthe
operatingsystem,andreinstallalltheprogramsandsettingsthatcamewithyourcomput er.
Attention:Ifyouresetyourcomputer,allyourpersonallesandsettingswillbedeleted.Toavoiddataloss,
makeabackupcopyofallthedatathatyouwantt okeep.

2.IntheRemoveeverythingandreinstallWindowssection,clickGetstarted.

startthecomputerfromanexternaldevice,orr estoretheWindowsoperatingsystemfromasystemimage.
Tousetheadvancedstartupoptions,dothefollowing:
1.Movethecursortothetop-rightorbottom-rightcornerofthescr eentodisplaythecharms.Click
Settings➙ChangePCsettings➙General.
2.IntheAdvancedstartupsection,clickRestartnow➙Troubleshoot➙Advancedoptions.
3.Restartyourcomputerfollowingtheinstructionsonthescreen.
