Diagnosingproblems
Ifyouexperienceproblemswithyourcomputer,usetheL enovoSolutionCenterprogramasastarting
pointforsolvingthem.
TheLenovoSolutionCenterprogramenablesyoutotroubleshootandresolvecomputerpr oblems.It
combinesdiagnostictests,systeminformationcollection,securitystatus,andsupportinformation,along
withhintsandtipsformaximumsystemperformance.

Troubleshooting
Ifyourcomputerhasanerror ,ittypicallydisplaysamessageoranerr orcode,orabeepsoundswhen
youturniton.Whenyouexperienceaproblem,refertothecorrespondingsectionsinthistopictotryto
solvetheproblembyyourself.

Printtheseinstructionsnowandkeepitwithyourcomputerforrefer encelater .
Ifyourcomputeriscompletelyunresponsive(youcannotusetheUltraNavpointingdeviceorthekeyboard),
dothefollowing:
1.Pressandholdthepowerbuttontoturnoffthecomputer.
•Ifthecomputeristurnedoff,restartthecomputerbypressingthepowerbutton.Ifyoucannot
restartthecomputer,gotostep2.
2.Whilethecomputeristurnedoff,removeallpowersourcesfromthecomputer.andresetthesystemby
insertingastraightenedpaperclipintotheemergencyr esethole.Thenholddownthepowerbuttonfor
10seconds.Reattachtheacpoweradapter.Ifthecomputerdoesnotturnbackon,continuetost ep3.
Note:Ifthecomputerstartswithacpowerbutdoesnotstartwhenacpowerisremoved,callthe
