Changingthestartupsequence
Tochangethestartupsequence,dothefollowing:
1.SelectBootorNetwork,thenpressEnter.Thedefaultbootlistisdisplayed,showingtheorderinwhich
deviceswillbestartedup.Evendevicesthatarenotattachedtoorinstalledonyourcomputerarelisted.
•UsetheBootsubmenutospecifythestartupsequencethatrunswhenyouturnonthepower.
•UsetheNetworksubmenutospecifythestartupsequencethatrunswhenWakeonLANisenabled.
WakeonLANiscommonlyusedbyLANadministratorsincorporatenetworkstogetr emoteaccess
toyourcomputer.
2.Setthestartupsequencebyusingthefollowingkeys:
•Usecursorkeystoselectadevice.
•UseF6orthecombinationofShiftand+tomovethedeviceuptoahigherpriority .
•UseF5or–tomovethedevicedowntoalowerpriority.
3.PressFn+F10tosavethechangesandrestartthesystem.
