This slot lets you easily transfer data from devices, such

Express Card

Express Card slot allows you to install a Express

 

Card™/34 or Express Card™/54 to expand functional-

Multimedia

 

Web Camera

Record/Send still or video images with this integrated

 

Web Camera.

Sound System

Windows Sound System compatible sound system pro-

 

vides internal speaker as well as jacks for an external

 

microphone and headphone. It also has a volume control

 

dial.

S-Video Out Port

This S-Video out port lets you transfer NTSC or PAL

 

data to external devices. See Chapter 8, Television, for

 

details.

LAN

The computer is equipped with a LAN card that sup-

 

ports Ethernet LAN (10 Mbit/s, 10BASE-T) or Fast

 

Ethernet LAN (100 Mbit/s, 100BASE-TX). It is prein-

 

stalled as a standard device in some markets.(Depending

 

on model you purchased)

Wireless LAN

Some computers in this series are equipped with a Wire-

 

less LAN mini card that is compatible with other LAN

 

systems based on Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum/

 

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing radio

 

technology that complies with the IEEE 802.11 Stan-

 

dard (Revision A, B, G and Draft N).

 

Roaming over multiple channels.
