PLANNING THE SYSTEM

Before attempting any programming, plan the system configuration first. This should include the following:

1. Determine the brand and type of all source components to be used.

2.Determine the components to be used in each zone. Some sources may not be available in all zones.

3.Perform the Out-of Box PRE TEST as outlined in Section 2.

4.Assemble the components into a working MRC88 system such as that shown in Figure 13.

5.Decide whether the MRC88 System will be programmed in BASIC, ADVANCED or EXPANDED modes

6.Program the MRC88 System using the included version of Dragon Drop-IR™ Software (DRAGMRC).

7.Transfer the System Project to the MRC88 Controller(s).

8.Confirm all functions in all zones.

COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM)

•Pentium w/32Mb RAM min.

•Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP

•20 MB Hard Drive space (you will need more as your keypad libraries expand)

•16 MB RAM (32 MB preferred)

•Mouse
