This guide uses the following conventions within printer control panel procedures.
A function key, when referred to in the main text of this guide, is identified by the function key name, a slash (/), and then the function key icon:

This guide uses the following conventions within procedures performed on your Macintosh.
Menu buttons Menu buttons displayed on the Macintosh screen are identified by their name in square brackets. For example:
Click on the [OK] button.
Keyboard keys A keyboard key name is boldface with downstyle capitalization.
For example:
Press the Tab key.
