Summary of DocuColor network installation

Copier

Prepare a network node. Connect the DocuColor to the copier and to the network.

Configure UNIX, Windows NT and IPX (Novell) servers to specify DocuColor print queues and DocuColor users.

Install PostScript printer drivers and remote utilities on the server.

In the DocuColor Control Panel, configure Server Setup, Network Setup, Printer Setup, PS Setup, Color Setup, and Job Log Setup. Perform AutoCal calibration.

At each workstation that will print to the DocuColor:

Install the appropriate printer drivers and printer description files (PPDs), and connect to one or more queues.

For computers that will use them, install the remote utilities and an Internet browser.

Verify the DocuColor in the list of printers and run a test print.
