2.2.2 Console Port
Use terminal emulator software on a computer for configuring your Prestige via console port. Connect the

When the Prestige is on and properly connected to a computer or a hub, the
corresponding LAN LED on the front panel turns on.
2.2.4 Power Port
Connect the power adapter to the port labeled POWER on the rear panel of your Prestige.
To avoid damage to the Prestige, use the correct power adapter. Refer to the
Power Adapter Specification Appendix for this information.
2.2.5 Reset Button
Refer to section 2.8 for information on the RESET button.
2.3Additional Installation Requirements
A computer with an Ethernet
A computer equipped with communications software (for example, Hyper Terminal in Windows 95) configured to the following parameters:
VT100 terminal emulation.
9600 baud rate.
Parity set to none, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit.
Flow control set to none.
After the Prestige has been successfully connected to your network, you can make future changes to the configuration via Telnet or the embedded web configurator.
