Chapter 9 Fault

2Choose a switch from the list located on the left-hand side of the screen.

3Choose a port from the list located on the right-hand side of the screen.

4In the Timeout field, accept the default or specify a connection timeout period (in seconds).

5Click Apply to start the loopback test.

6A screen displays showing the test result. Click OK to close the screen.

9.3 Ping Test

You can use the Ping screen to test connection from the selected switch to a specified IP address.

Click Fault > Ping and TraceRoute Test and click the Ping tab to display the screen.
