The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Active | Select this check box to activate your rule. You may temporarily deactivate a rule without |
| deleting it by clearing this check box. |

MAC | Enter the MAC address in valid MAC address format, that is, six hexadecimal character |
| pairs. Static MAC addresses do not age out. |
|
|
VID | Enter the VLAN group identification number. |
|
|
Port | Select a port where the MAC address entered in the previous field will be automatically |
| forwarded. |
|
|
OK | Click OK to save the settings. |
|
|
Close | Click Close to close the screen. All unsaved settings will be lost. |
|
|
14.8 Mirroring
Port mirroring allows you to copy a traffic flow to a mirror port (the port you copy the traffic to) in order that you can examine the traffic from the mirror port without interference.
Click Configuration > Switch Configuration > Mirroring to display the configuration screen.
