Time Zone

Press [SPACE BAR] and then [ENTER] to set the time difference between your

 

 

time zone and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

 

 

Daylight Saving

If you use daylight savings time, then choose Yes.

 

 

 

 

 

Start Date

If using daylight savings time, enter the month and day that it starts on.

 

 

 

 

 

End Date

If using daylight savings time, enter the month and day that it ends on

 

 

 

 

Once you have filled in this menu, press [ENTER] at the message “Press ENTER to Confirm or ESC to Cancel“ to save your configuration, or press [ESC] to cancel.

The G-1000 v2 resets the time in three instances:

1On leaving menu 24.10 after making changes.

2When the G-1000 v2 starts up, if there is a timeserver configured in menu 24.10.

324-hour intervals after starting.

17.3Remote Management Setup

17.3.1 Telnet

You can configure your G-1000 v2 for remote Telnet access as shown next.

You can upload and download G-1000 v2 firmware and configuration files using FTP. To use this feature, your computer must have an FTP client.
