CÓMO USAR LA CULTIVADORA

Cómo detener la cultivadora

1.Suelte el control de aceleración para de- tener la rotación de los dientes.

2.Mueva el interruptor de ENCENDIDO / APAGADO, en el motor, a la posición

APAGADO.

Cómo ajustar la profundidad

Use la varilla de profundidad para contro- lar la profundidad del arado y la velocidad de avance. Ajuste la varilla de profundidad a la posición de arado deseada, siguiendo las indicaciones siguientes:

1.Retire el pasador abierto y el pasador de horquilla de la varilla de profundi- dad (Figure 10).

2.Ajuste de la varilla de profundidad ha- cia arriba para cavar a menos profundi- dad o hacia abajo para cavar a mayor profundidad.

3.Instale nuevamente el pasador de hor- quilla y el pasador abierto.

CÓMO OPERAR LA

CULTIVADORA

1.Arranque el motor. Consulte “Cómo ha- cer arrancar el motor”.

2.Incline la unidad hacia atrás sobre la va- rilla de profundidad hasta que los dien- tes no toquen el suelo. Apriete el control de aceleración contra el manillar todo lo que pueda. El motor es controlado por un regulador de velocidad y debe hacer- lo funcionar a su máxima aceleración cuando está cultivando.

3.Sujete el mango firmemente y lentamen- te incline la unidad hacia adelante para iniciar la acción de cultivar.

4.A medida que los dientes comienzan a hacer contacto con la tierra, sujete la unidad por los mangos para que los dientes se entierren en el suelo y la uni-

dad no avance simplemente sobre la tie- rra.

5.Evite arar tierra muy seca, ya que esto sólo producirá un polvo que no retiene agua. Asimismo, evite arar tierra muy mojada, ya que esto excederá la capaci- dad de la máquina y producirá terrones / acumulaciones de tierra.

6.Bajando la varilla de profundidad hará que la cultivadora avance más lento y que cave a mayor profundidad. Levantar la varilla de profundidad le permitirá avanzar más rápido y excavar la tierra a menor profundidad. Consulte “Cómo ajustar la varilla de profundidad”.
